Lasseter said his firm is working closely with gaming regulators in New Jersey and Michigan on the arrangement, adding that he hopes other states will adopt similar agreements soon.
PokerStars has been operating in New Jersey since 2016.
BetMGM and PokerStars are active in Michigan and New Jersey and will benefit from the launch.
