The Malawi School of Government (MSG) has stormed the two major cities of Blantyre and Lilongwe, selling degrees in cybersecurity and networking.
The school, formerly known as the Malawi Institute of Management (MIM), offers the course in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire in the UK.
Kabwila said the program is expected to help learners assess the security risks inherent in computer networks and the techniques available to address them.
She reminded the public that in the country, only their institution offers this degree in cybersecurity and networking.

The course will equip learners with the intellectual, technical and interpersonal skills necessary to participate in the design, implementation, management and security of modern computer systems.
Alex Chanza, Head of External Programs at MSG Kanengo Campus, said in his speech that the computing programs offered by the institution will be delivered through NCC Education’s virtual learning environment, where learners will be taught by NCC’s contract staff and validated and awarded by Universities UK to Central Lancashire.
