News ENGAGE Launches New AI Customer Service Virtual Workforce

NEW YORK, Jan. 23, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ENGAGE XR Holdings (AIM: EXR; Euronext Growth: EXR), a virtual reality (‘VR’) technology company and provider of virtual communication solutions for the Metaverse, today announced the launch of Athena, an augmented reality (AI) Integrate into virtual reality (VR) environments for ENGAGE enterprise customers. Athena takes the concept of customer service chatbots to the next level using Open AI programs ChatGPT-3 and DALL.E, enabling enterprise customers to have full interactive conversations with avatars in the ENGAGE here and here Experience Athena.

“The launch of Athena will open up endless possibilities for enterprise customers and change the future of the Metaverse,” said David Whelen, CEO and co-founder of ENGAGE. “With just a prompt or two, users can have a full conversation with Athena within the ENGAGE platform and ask her anything from completing simple tasks and answering basic questions to creating complex and unique contraptions in the metaverse.”

Traditionally, customer service chatbots are software or computer program interfaces that simulate human-like conversations through text or voice interaction. Until now, chatbots have been programmed with keywords and preset scripts, which can limit their functionality and usefulness. Athena’s AI intelligence goes a step further by providing ENGAGE Link users with customer service chat capabilities. Athena can make suggestions, answer questions, play source media, create AI images, find 3D objects, create sticky notes, and interact with key features of the platform. It’s all done through an animated avatar, making people interacting with Athena feel like they’re talking to a real person. AI features also allow Athena to learn and enhance her intelligence the more she interacts with people, improving her performance and responding more naturally to dialogue prompts.

“We named our ENGAGE companion Athena, after the Greek goddess of wisdom, craftsmanship and practical reason,” Whelan said. “As our customer continues to interact with Athena, she will expand her wisdom with every prompt and conversation. The launch of Athena is just the beginning of our extensive roadmap for AI metaverse applications.”

Over the next few weeks, ENGAGE engineers will add more functionality and connectivity to Athena using different AI programs. She will gain access to hundreds of technical documents, train her to be an expert on the ENGAGE platform, and help her improve her responsiveness and become more human-like.

ENGAGE XR plans to offer its enterprise customers customized AI workers at a premium price in the future. Each custom avatar will be tailored to a unique personality and will provide all the technical knowledge they need to support each company’s goals and missions. These avatars will be able to take on a range of customer-facing tasks, including technical support, training, education and auditing.
