After 15 months of accepting applications, the Escambia County Emergency Rental Assistance Program has officially ended.
The application portal, which opened on October 18, 2021, is designed to assist eligible low-income Escambia County residents and families facing financial hardship due to COVID-19.
Residents who have submitted applications for emergency rental assistance or requests for additional funding prior to January 24, 2023 will continue to have their applications or requests reviewed.
“However, due to a lack of funding, there is no guarantee that applications will be funded,” the county said. For more information, please contact the ERAP Help Desk at 850-403-6044 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
